José Luis Hernández Gómez, better known by his moniker, “El Senor de los Monos,” or “the Toy Man,” has transformed his Tijuana home into sun-baked mausoleum for 31,000 castaway children’s toys of every conceivable variety. Hernández’s generation-spanning toy collection is now only 7,000 shy of his place in the Guinness World records.
